Is Cherie also an Ice Sculptor?
Anyone she gets a good review off Jeff McDonald of Red Kross (?) and a very nifty version of 'Instant Karma' by Cherie 30 minutes in. Of course the guys right to speak in such glowing terms of our heroine Cherie. Multitalented - yup, Vair Motivational - I've no doubt, still extremely young looking and beautiful - time to back in glory, Cherie.
Anywhoo..Gus and Ella may know me as Daz Madrigal from a while back and since then I've split and gone my own way with my own forum.
omgomomgomg..nearly forgot the link

Hi Daz!
Welcome back! I just read your post on the pirate board and was going to ask you to post it over here!
Thanks for doing so!
Yeah Cherie has worked with Red Kross over the years.
Her version of Instant Karma with the Tater Tots is one of my favorite Cherie recordings.
I'm not sure about ice sculpting! I reckon it's possible!
I will try to listen to that show tonight!
Thanks for the link!

"ello Blackdog, Glad to see you were able to get back on hostboard. I try to visit your board as often as I can, but until we find an alternative to dialup, I have a hard time posting over there.
But I send everyone a Big wave from the middle of nowhere.

It's easier to find it here Cherie.

Just scroll down to October 7. The Stephen McDonald interview.
You have 2 choices.
"Real Audio" which I couldn't get to work on my PC because my Real Audio player is goofed up.
MP3 which is downloading right now on my Windows Media Player!
Hopefully you have high speed and won't have to wait long for the interview to download!
I am looking forward to hearing this!!!

I hope I didn't steer you wrong. It never finished downloading here but I was beginning to wonder.
Here are the two listening options directly from the page, originally linked by Daz Madrigal!
MP3
http://wfmu.org/listen.m3u?show=2064...rttime=0:25:05
Real Audio
http://wfmu.org/listen.ram?show=20646&starttime=0:25:05
I'm trying to download the MP3 now and apparently the interview is 25 or 30 minutes into the radio show!
I hope I get it this time!
Any luck Cherie?!?!

Boy Gus ,
How do you do that? Your link worked great,
I must have taken the long and winding road last night to find it. I think I must have downloaded the whole show. I found it 55 mins. in to the show.
Mp3 worked for me. Just follow Gus's link everyone, it's about 30 mins. in to the show.
Cherie sounds great singing Instant Karma!
Well, gotta go and get ready, our foreign exchange student from Germany is arriving today.
Hope I can join you in chat tonight.
Later
Gregg

Thanks for that info Gregg. I should have just posted the direct links in the firsr place.
Unfortunately my internet provider (net zero) shut me down before I reached the interview, last night.
I'll try again in a while! I hope Cherie was able to hear it!
Oh yeah...Cherie doing John Lennon's Instant Karma, is FANtastic! Works for me, big time!
We all shine on!

Your both going Ice-skating? LOL
Jeez I had the cover of the 1st Runaways LP on the wall when I was a wee boy age 14 growing up in Manchester, UK and I've still got it somewhere (along with my Debbie Harry poster out of Punk mag Issue 3..hmm..mmm WOW those were hot too!
I thought the Ice sculpting unlikely in LA because it'd melt so you have to be vair fast )..then again there IS skiing an hours drive away so anythings possible. Certainly didnt exapect to be posting to the cute fox in the sparkly silver top 30 yrs later!
